Tone Your Tummy with These Women’s Core Workouts at Home

Swimsuit season is upon us, and most of us are looking for a quick (and hopefully easy) way to tone up our tummies without having to lug ourselves down to the gym four or five days a week.

Thankfully, there are a bunch of different women’s core workouts at home that we can do to give ourselves flat washboard stomachs, tight abs, and a stronger core to help us get through our day to day life without any lower back pain to speak of – and best of all, we can attack these women’s core workouts at home in our pajamas!

Interested in picking up a couple of tips and tricks that you can use to immediately tighten your tummy?

Check out the inside information we have for you below!

Simple Sit-Ups Just Aren’t Going to Cut It Any Longer

Most of us understand that sit-ups can be an effective workout to help us build up our core (at least a little bit), but almost all of us know that it isn’t the fastest, the easiest, or the safest way to build a washboard like stomach.

Sit-ups just aren’t going to get the job done anymore.

Thankfully, by modifying sit-ups and changing them up to knee fold tuck moves, you’re going to be able to do the same kind of movement (with a slight variation) that you’re so used to while at the same time boost the results dramatically.

All you have to do is get down into the sit-ups position, but instead of pulling your torso up towards your knees you place an exercise ball (or a soccer ball/basketball/bouncy ball) between your knees and then reach your arms out while trying to touch your toes to your hands. This movement is going to blast all of your core muscles, and give you the kind of abs you’ve always dreamed of in record time!

Climb the Invisible Rope

Another of the game changing women’s core workouts at home that you are going to absolutely fall in love with is the “climb the invisible rope” movements.

Start off by laying down on your back with your arms at your side. Then raise your arms up above you as you do a traditional sit up (keeping your legs flat on the ground in front of you). Once you get all the way up right, bring your arms above your head and pretend to pull an invisible rope down by your side with each hand. Rinse and repeat with each hand for between eight and 10 repetitions before returning back to the ground – starting all over again and trying to shoot for a minute or two of these exercises at first.

These women’s core workouts at home are really going to help you blast some of the most important muscles in your body, while at the same time help you burn as much fat as humanly possible in the process.

Talk about a real win-win kind of situation, right?!
